We represent legislative aides working in the Colorado State Senate and House, negotiating directly with members of the Executive Committee of the Legislative Council. Through our own, internal democratic processes, we advocate for legislation and rule-changes to effectively peruse improvements in working conditions and wages for legislative aides.

The Political Workers Guild attends meetings regarding employment status, negotiates contracts, and stewards members through workplace harassment complaints. Inviting your union representative balances the power dynamic of a workplace meeting, allowing for the representation of you and your interests.

Those elected, and those who aspire to be elected, to positions of power claim commitment to the workers they represent - yet continuously fail to extend these values to the workers they employ. The Political Workers Guild of Colorado unites campaign workers, political organizers, and legislative aides in fighting for dignity in our workplace.
